Pupil Premium Grant
All members of staff and governors accept responsibility for “socially disadvantaged” pupils and are committed to meeting their pastoral, social and academic needs within the school environment. Frizinghall is committed to “Narrowing the Gap” between vulnerable pupils and the Pupil Premium forms a vital part of the process. The governors reserve the right to allocate the Pupil Premium funding to support any pupils or groups of pupils the school has legitimately identified as being socially disadvantaged.
Provision will be made through:
- · Alternative support and intervention within the school
- · Facilitating pupil access to education
- · Facilitating pupil access to the curriculum
Reports
It is the responsibility of the governors to explain pupil premium expenditure to parents and this will be in the form of an annual report. Frizinghall Primary School will publish the details of this report on the school's website and include information about how the pupil premium has been used and its impact.
